Creativity, Activity and Service
CAS is one of the core components of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. It is a comprehensive program aimed at fostering students’ personal and interpersonal development through practical experience in three areas:
- Creativity:
- Arts: Music, dance, theater, visual arts, etc.
- Design: Graphic design, fashion design, web design, etc.
- Writing: Creating stories, poetry, scripts, etc.
- Activity:
- Sports: Soccer, basketball, swimming, etc.
- Adventure: Hiking, climbing, cycling, etc.
- Well-being: Yoga, meditation, fitness, etc.
- Service:
- Volunteering: Helping at an animal shelter, working with at-risk children, etc.
- Environment: Participating in clean-up or reforestation projects, etc.
Objectives of the CAS Program:
- Develop self-awareness and self-confidence
- Learn to work in teams and collaborate with others
- Cultivate empathy and social responsibility
- Acquire leadership and communication skills
- Reflect on experiences and personal learning
