UNESCO School

LOGO UNESCOChurchill School & College is part of the UNESCO Schools network, which connects 12,000 schools in 182 countries.

Students have the opportunity to live universal values day by day such as gender equality, human rights and social justice. These principles are not only learned in the classroom but also applied in their daily lives, allowing them to develop a deep sense of global responsibility.

Through service-learning projects, they actively engage with their community, addressing social and environmental issues. In this way, we prepare them to be global citizens, aware of their surroundings and committed to generating a positive change.

🌎 Thanks to education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship, students develop essential skills such as critical thinking, intercultural empathy and teamwork. Cultural exchanges and awareness campaigns provide them with the opportunity to know other cultures and learn from them, thus fostering respect for diversity.

The ASP network operates nationally and internationally, focusing on three key areas:

  • Education for Sustainable Development: Promotes environmental responsibility and action for a sustainable future.
  • Education for Global Citizenship: Prepares young people to be active and responsible citizens in a globalised world.
  • Intercultural and Heritage Learning: Celebrates cultural diversity and promotes respect for heritage.

By integrating these values into our lives at Churchill School & College, we become a responsible community, capable of leading and contributing to the creation of a more peaceful, just, and sustainable world.
