Admissions Policy
Admissions Policy 2024
Objective
The admissions policy of Churchill School & College discloses the general procedure and the requirements necessary for the admission of the student.
The admission process is consistent with the educational model of Churchill School & College since it evaluates the candidates in a comprehensive manner and recognizes the importance of involving the family in the educational process of the student.
We understand that one of the most important decisions as a family is to choose the best educational option for your sons or daughters. For Churchill School & College, each new entry into our educational community represents a long-term mutual commitment between the student, his or her family, and the College. This relationship must be one of collaboration and respect and provide permanent benefits, both for the student body and for their families and the College itself.
We trust that, through our admission process, families, as well as the College, will determine if Churchill School & College is the best option for each person.
By being part of Churchill School & College, families understand that the School offers a comprehensive education through its academic, wellness and prevention programs, so all students without exception participate in the activities, conferences and workshops scheduled by the School.
At Churchill School & College, a balance between academic performance and the development of socio-emotional skills in our students is promoted; therefore, there is no scholarship program for academic merits. The School has a support system through SEP scholarships, for families who are suddenly going through an extraordinary situation and their economic stability is temporarily affected. This support is granted for one school year and applies from the second year of entering the School in any grade with the exception of Nursery and Pre-first.
General Procedure
Waiting List
The School has a waiting list to consider admission to the consecutive school year starting on the first business day of September.
Children of Churchill School & College staff, as well as siblings of students at the School and former students have priority on the waiting list, in the order mentioned.
This priority is maintained as long as both students remain enrolled. If you choose not to use one of the places, the other candidate will be included on the waiting list with the corresponding place on it.
We are open to receiving applications for those interested in entering during the current school year, subject to availability.
Follow-up and information related to the admission process is provided only to the mother, father or guardians of the student registered on the waiting list.
Churchill School & College is an inclusive School, where the individuality of each of the candidates is respected and valued and therefore, the admission evaluation is comprehensive.
The decision of the area board regarding the admission of a candidate is final. If the family disagrees with the result of the admission process, they can request an appointment with the General Management.
Churchill School & College offers induction to new families before the beginning of the school year. They are invited to talks and/or workshops where they can learn more about communication, operation and procedures within the School, as well as become familiar with the Churchill community.
