History

The Anglo Foundation is a self-sustaining, non-profit civil association that works to transform the community through education and culture in a bilateral exchange between Mexico and the United Kingdom.

The history of The Anglo Foundation dates back to 1943, when the Anglo-Mexican Institute of Culture A.C. was founded with the aim of strengthening ties between Great Britain and Mexico through constant cultural exchange. For more than 80 years, it has successfully achieved this through teaching English, training English teachers and by holding a wide range of cultural events.

In 1998, The Anglo expanded its horizons by creating the Churchill School, dedicated to formal bicultural and cutting-edge education and offering classes from kindergarten to the third grade of secondary school. In 2003, education was extended to college level (high school) by opening the Churchill College, a space dedicated to adolescents and young people who study under the highest educational standards with solid training that prepares them for their professional career.

We have over 25 years of experience in providing formal education, offering bilingual programmes and delivering an academic curriculum of excellence.

Teresa Guevara, Directora del Churchill School y College sentada

"These have been years of continuous growth and constant commitment to help develop and educate children and young people to be principled, reflective and fully prepared for the future.

Our students are always at the heart of everything we do. They are the source of inspiration for us to improve and to continue preparing ourselves to provide an education with high standards of quality and professionalism, accompanied, most importantly, by values and attitudes that align with the needs of today's world.

A key stamp of Churchill since its founding is its focus on shaping well-rounded, thoughtful and critical individuals who, most importantly, are fulfilled and happy.”
